2nd Amendment

George is a firm supporter of 2nd Amendment rights and applauded the Supreme Court's decision in District of Columbia v. Heller which affirmed that the 2nd Amendment represents an individual right of all lawful American citizens.

He recognizes the need to provide for the safety of individuals against violent crime and to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, but these concerns must not infringe upon the rights of law abiding citizens.
